Overview Of The Role:

• The Sales Assistant is pivotal in driving store performance through proactive sales generation and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. The role entails supporting daily operations, ensuring the store is clean and visually appealing, and delivering exceptional customer service. Success in the role is measured by customer satisfaction, store standards, and sales targets. The Sales Assistant operates as the frontline representative of the store, embodying company values and promoting a positive retail environment.
  
  

What You Will Do:

Customer Service

• Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.
• Provide customers with current relevant information about the product.
• Thank all customers sincerely for shopping as they exit the store and invite them back.
  
  

Store Operations

• Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
• Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale.
• Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.
  
  

Sales Generation

• Focus on sales generation by engaging with customers effectively and demonstrating product knowledge.
• Meet or exceed sales goals set by store management while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  
  

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Product knowledge and retail sales savvy.
  
  

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• High School Degree is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in retail sales.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
