Overview Of The Role:

• The Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in the direct interactions with customers aimed at generating sales and ensuring an exemplary shopping experience. This role involves implementing store standards to maintain a clean and inviting shopping environment, greeting and assisting customers with product information, and managing efficient operations at checkout. Additionally, the Sales Assistant contributes to store maintenance and presentation under the guidance of the store management team. Success in this position involves a combination of interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude towards customer service and store operations.
  
  

What You Will Do:

Customer Service

• Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code.
• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.
• Provide customers with current relevant information about the product.
• Offer quality service in the fitting rooms, following up with customers in a timely manner.
• Sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store and invite them back.
  
  

Sales and Checkout

• Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, and maintain cash wrap cleanliness.
• Capture customer information in the database.
• Attempt to add on to sales during checkout interactions.
  
  

Store Maintenance

• Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
• Carry out housekeeping duties and uphold visual presentation standards as directed by store management.
  
  

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Outstanding customer service abilities
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and maintain store standards
• Capability to uphold visual presentation and cleanliness standards
  
  

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• High School Degree
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Capability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours
