Job Description

As a Sales Advisor in the insurance sector, you will be at the forefront of building and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure they receive the best financial advice and solutions tailored to their specific needs. Responsibilities

  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular contact.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs-based assessments to tailor insurance solutions.
  • Educate clients on policy details, coverage options, and associated benefits.
  • Analyze clients' existing coverage and propose enhancements or additional coverage.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and market changes to advise clients effectively.
  • Meet sales targets consistently by developing strategic sales plans and activities.
  • Prepare and present detailed policy reports and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with insurance underwriters to assemble insurance documents and proposals.
  • Conduct follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and renewals of policies.
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Participate in workshops, seminars, and events to expand your network and knowledge base.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of different insurance products, policies, and coverage options.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to build effective working relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to assess client needs and provide suitable insurance advice and solutions.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and insurance management tools and platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
