JOB PURPOSE
Responsible in completing a variety of general and sales oriented administrative tasks in account management. Ensure an efficient and qualitative portfolio policy management, information database management towards stakeholders, documentation and sales administration to support the account managers. The role holder will work together in close cooperation with their international strategic partner.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Portfolio Policy Management
- Assists in managing all the administrative processes pertaining to policies related to his portfolio (registration of policy holders, issuing policy amendments, etc.).
- Completes accurate entry of application details, issues individual credit limits and policy to the policy holder.
- Reviews policy documentation, letters/emails from policyholders or brokers.
- Handles enquiries on policy administration from clients, intermediaries and internal team members in a quality and professional manner.
- Provides guidance and training to the team to enhance technical knowledge.
Information Database Management
- Ensures that all requests for providing any information requested by stakeholders are addressed in a timely manner.
- Assesses the quality of information/data received to ensure sufficient information is available.
Account Management
- Ensures invoices are generated and issued in a timely manner.
- Ensures that statement of accounts is up to date and clients have cleared payments in time.
- Follows up on internal documentation and internal processes to expedite issuance of policies, annexes and or any other documents.
- Responsible for reconciling accounts and ensuring payments have been cleared
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor or Master Degree Holder in either of the following or any other related field of study:
- Finance
- Business
- Commerce
- Marketing
3 years for Bachelors degree holder or 1 year for masters degree holder
Relevant Experience
- Prior experience in policy management, account management, underwriting or risk management, preferably in the Export Credit Insurance/Banking Industry, is an asset.
- Advance computer skills.
- Customer orientation, excellent administrative and organizational skills.
SKILLS & NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE
Business Language Skills
Good command of written and spoken English essential, additional languages such as Arabic, French is an added advantage
