Role Overview

Were looking for a Route Controller who is responsible for monitoring truck movements, managing route-related communications, handling client and incident reporting, and ensuring smooth coordination between drivers, ground teams, and internal stakeholders. The role plays a key part in maintaining operational efficiency, visibility, and compliance throughout the trip lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Track truck movements and monitor loading, transit, offloading, and POD follow-ups.
• Identify, report, and escalate incidents or delays in a timely manner.
• Communicate with drivers to provide route, loading, and offloading instructions.
• Coordinate with depot teams, border ground teams, and loading/offloading contacts.
• Prepare and share client flash and incident reports as required.
• Book and announce trucks in the system based on route planning.
• Manage route amendments, driver detail updates, cancellations, and reallocations.
• Raise trip cash requests, process approved refunds, and share corridor vouchers.
• Maintain accurate system updates for trip, dispatch, loading, and offloading status.
  
  

• Experience in route control, fleet operations, or logistics coordination.
• Strong communication skills for driver and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to track, report, and manage incidents in real time.
• Good system knowledge (Salesforce or similar platforms preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple trips simultaneously.
