Your Opportunity

We are actively seeking a Reward Specialist who will be responsible for managing the implementation and delivery of a range of best practice Reward programmes and activities including salary review processes, market benchmarking, pay deck development, job evaluation, benefit portfolio management, functional remuneration and incentive schemes and policy and processes.


The Ideal candidate should be able to identiy problems within their area of remit and take responsibility for finding asolution regardless of the causes, be able to deliver against their own objectives in accordance to Serco values, while meeting personal commitments in an organized and methodical manner. They also need to demonstrate collboration and proactive team working with others.


This role is part of the HR team and will be based in our corporate office in Dubai.


Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct appropriate market research and make recommendations on the SME Reward Strategy and Standard Operating Procedures for all reward elements based on analysis and experience
  • Prepare all reward communications for Senior Management
  • Manage, produce, review all Reward related reports
  • Review, maintain and make enhancements to the reward tool and processes to ensure they are effective, efficient and scalable.
  • Manage the Reward Calendar ensuring all key deliverables are met within the required timeframes.
  • Create and oversee the implementation of country specific pay decks in liaison with HRBPs and in line with pay positioning strategy. This may also include Contract specific pay decks as required.


Specific Requirements

  • Relevant degree within HR, numeracy or analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of reward practices across the Middle East and Comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation in Middle East Countries
  • Knowledge of Job Evaluation methodologies and Total Reward Management
  • Project Management – planning and organizing skills as well as Statistical analysis and numerical skills
  • Excel and power point skills are required for this role, and excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Reward Specialist or similar
  • Good experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate management information
  • Experience of operating with highly confidential and sensitive information with tact and diplomacy
  • Experience with putting together business cases and presentations for senior stakeholders.
