Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Retail Trainer to join our dynamic team. As a Retail Trainer, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing training programs targeted at enhancing the skills and knowledge of our retail staff. Your goal will be to ensure our team delivers outstanding customer service and meets or exceeds sales targets. You will be responsible for creating engaging training materials, conducting training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for retail staff members.
  • Create and update training materials to maintain relevance and interest.
  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for new and existing employees.
  • Coordinate training schedules to ensure minimal disruption to retail operations.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance tracking.
  • Work closely with retail managers to identify training needs and objectives.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and support to enhance learning and development.
  • Maintain records of trainee progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure all training aligns with company policies and retail industry standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest retail trends and training techniques to improve programs.
  • Support recruitment efforts by assisting in the orientation of new hires.
  • Liaise with external training providers when necessary to supplement training initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Retail Trainer or in a similar instructional role.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a passion for teaching.
  • Strong understanding of retail sales processes and customer service principles.
  • Ability to create innovative and engaging training materials and content.
  • Proficiency in using e-learning software and tools for training purposes.
  • Willingness to travel to different retail store locations as needed.
