Job Description
Develop and execute brand strategies that drive business growth and expand market presence, translating brand vision into actionable go-to-market plans.
Lead with a hands-on approach by actively engaging in store operations and supporting frontline teams while providing senior-level strategic direction.
Apply strong retail commercial acumen by aligning daily operations with sales targets and P&L responsibilities to ensure financial goals are met.
Champion exceptional customer experiences through regular store visits, maintaining brand standards, and fostering continuous service improvements.
Build, train, and manage large teams (200-400 staff), including overseeing multiple direct reports, to cultivate a motivated and high-performing workforce.
Leverage industry networks and market insights to stay ahead of trends, nurture stakeholder relationships, and drive sales growth based on customer preferences.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and strategic leader with a proven track record in retail brand management and operations. They will combine big-picture vision with hands-on involvement, comfortably navigating between high-level strategy and day-to-day store execution. Possessing strong commercial insight, they will be adept at driving sales and managing P&L, ensuring that business objectives are consistently met.
This individual will have a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and be regularly present on the ground to maintain brand standards and inspire teams. They will be an effective team builder and manager, experienced in leading large, diverse teams while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Well-connected within the retail industry, the candidate will leverage their network and market knowledge to anticipate trends and capitalize on growth opportunities. With excellent interpersonal skills, they will naturally motivate others and build strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners. Lastly, they will possess a continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and team effectiveness.
