Overview Of The Role:

• The Retail Sales Representative is tasked with generating sales and ensuring a positive customer experience in alignment with the store's operational requirements. This role involves various responsibilities ranging from customer interaction to maintaining store standards and cleanliness. Additionally, the representative must assist with operations such as opening and closing the store, conducting POS operations, and ensuring compliance with pricing procedures. Success in this role hinges on meeting sales goals, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a well-organized and attractive sales environment.
  
  

What You Will Do:

Customer Service

• Provide a high level of customer service at all times both internal and external.
• Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code.
• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.
• Provide customers with current relevant information about the product.
• Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner.
• Sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store, and invite them back.
  
  

Store Operations

• Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations including opening, closing, and store management cover.
• Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager if required.
• Train new staff on the Point of Sale (POS) operation and manage corrective action at the POS.
• Ensure compliance with in-store procedures regarding pricing and ticketing.
• Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales goals.
  
  

Housekeeping and Visual Presentation

• Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Maintains cash wrap cleanliness and attempts to add on to the sale.
  
  

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

• Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions.
• Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise, the brand, and the company.
• Participate in all inventories.
• Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management.
• Satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management.
• Punctual and adheres to designated work schedule.
• Flexible and works well with peers and management to accomplish duties.
• Follow company policies and procedures 100%.
  
  

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) operations.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Strong communication abilities.
  
  

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• High School Degree.
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Capability to perform some heavy lifting.
• An eye for fashion trends and a friendly demeanor.
