Job Description

As a Retail Sales Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in driving sales and ensuring optimal product presentation within our retail outlets. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with store management and other key stakeholders. You will be responsible for executing merchandising strategies, maintaining shelf-level planograms, and ensuring product visibility. Your efforts will enhance the customer shopping experience and drive product sales to meet corporate goals. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for retail, you will ensure our products meet market demands and consumer needs effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to optimize product placement on retail shelves.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by regularly monitoring stock and replenishing as necessary.
  • Collaborate with store management to set up promotional displays and special marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with retail partners and stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to retail staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all merchandising activities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that planograms are properly executed in each location.
  • Develop and submit detailed reports on merchandising activities and sales performance.
  • Assist with the coordination of new store openings, displays, and merchandising elements.
  • Ensure brand consistency throughout all customer touchpoints within retail environments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred in business or related field.
  • Proven experience in retail merchandising or related sales experience of minimum two years.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships effectively.
  • Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising best practices and techniques is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and merchandising software tools.
