Job Description

The Retail Sales Executive is a vital position in our sales team, focused on driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction in a dynamic retail environment. As a Retail Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs, and offering solutions that enhance their shopping experience. You will have the opportunity to be on the frontline of a thriving retail marketplace, guiding prospective buyers and generating revenue through face-to-face interactions. Success in this role will be marked by your ability to meet and exceed sales targets, demonstrate product knowledge, and provide superior customer service. Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to offer personalized product recommendations and advice.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of all products and sales promotions.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets set by the sales manager.
  • Maintain an organized, visually appealing, and clean sales floor.
  • Utilize sales data and customer feedback to understand sales trends and customer preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns effectively.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently and courteously.
  • Participate in regular training and development programs to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and inventory levels.
  • Develop and foster a positive and professional relationship with clients and team members.
  • Assist in merchandising and inventory management in line with company standards.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sales executive or relevant role in retail sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage sales floor and inventory efficiently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in using point of sale systems and other retail management software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business or related field preferred.
