The Retail Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving sales and enhancing the customer experience within the retail environment. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve the store’s overall sales targets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing retail environment at all times.
  • Provide detailed information and answer questions about products, services, and promotions.
  • Assist in product merchandising to optimize sales and product visibility.
  • Handle customer complaints and return processes while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels and participate in stock-taking activities when required.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive products to provide informed recommendations.
  • Use point-of-sale (POS) software to process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills continuously.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies in all areas, particularly health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Must have at least two years of experience in retail sales or customer service.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) software and inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with flexibility on work shifts.
  • A positive attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
