Job Description

The Retail Operations Executive is a pivotal role within the retail sector, tasked with overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of retail outlets. This position requires a strategic thinker who can drive the overall retail strategy and ensure that operations are aligned with the company's objectives. The Retail Operations Executive is responsible for optimizing the customer shopping experience by enhancing store processes, ensuring sufficient stock levels, and addressing any operational issues. This role is ideal for someone with a combination of strong leadership abilities, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders, including store managers, suppliers, and corporate teams. The candidate will also work closely with marketing and finance to boost profitability and ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained throughout the retail operations.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement retail operation strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensure retail stores operate efficiently and effectively to exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with store managers to optimize inventory and ensure product availability.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators for each retail outlet regularly.
  • Address and resolve operational problems promptly to minimize disruption.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to maintain adequate stock levels throughout outlets.
  • Analyze sales and financial data to identify areas for business growth and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all retail locations.
  • Lead training and development programs for retail staff to enhance performance.
  • Implement new technologies to streamline operations and improve customer engagement.
  • Prepare regular reports on retail operations performance for senior management review.
  • Foster a positive and customer-centric environment across all retail teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail operations or similar role desired.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing successful teams.
  • Excellent analytical ability to interpret sales and financial data effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
  • Proficient in using retail management software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues swiftly in a dynamic retail environment.
