Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Manager to lead our store operations and drive our retail team towards excellence. As a Retail Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our store, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving strategic business initiatives. Working closely with the leadership team, you will develop strategies to improve sales, reduce costs, and improve customer service, aligning with our company’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a knack for team management, a keen eye for merchandising, and the ability to adapt to the fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the retail store to ensure efficiency.
  • Develop and implement retail strategies to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales to develop profitable strategies.
  • Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
  • Manage store inventory and ensure all products are well stocked and merchandised.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new retail staff member to fill store needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the store environment.
  • Develop promotional programs and events to boost store traffic and sales.
  • Liaise with corporate office and regional office to ensure store standards are met.
  • Prepare and manage store budgets, aiming to achieve profit objectives.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently, maintaining customer loyalty.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in retail management or similar roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and operating store budgets.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze retail metrics and trends.
  • Proficient in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
