Job Description

The Retail Banking Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving the sales and business development efforts within the retail banking sector of our institution. In this position, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing tailored banking solutions, and ensuring the delivery of an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with other departments to identify opportunities for cross-selling and contribute to the overall growth of our retail banking segment. This role demands excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a deep understanding of retail banking products and services. The ideal candidate will have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, displaying resilience and determination in a competitive environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve retail banking KPIs.
  • Identify and cultivate new business relationships to expand the client base.
  • Provide personalized product recommendations to clients to meet their financial needs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver seamless banking services to customers.
  • Monitor market trends to identify sales opportunities and competitive threats.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exemplary service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and industry regulations.
  • Evaluate and report on sales figures, strategies, and forecasts to management.
  • Lead sales and marketing initiatives to promote retail banking products and services.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly to maintain client loyalty.
  • Attend networking events to promote the bank's image and products.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to devise targeted sales campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in retail banking sales roles.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets in banking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
