Job Description

As a Retail Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and cultivating relationships with our retail partners, ensuring their success and growth in alignment with our corporate objectives. Your role involves a strategic orientation towards enhancing the company’s retail client base through dedicated account management. You will serve as a key liaison between the company and retail partners, working directly with them to drive sales, optimize inventory, and enhance brand presence within retail channels. This role requires a deep understanding of retail management and exceptional communication skills to translate company objectives into actionable plans for the retail units. The Retail Account Manager acts as a go-to resource for retail solutions and strategic insights, particularly in areas of sales trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing retail clients through effective communication strategies.
  • Analyze sales performance to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for business growth.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to design and implement retail promotions and campaigns.
  • Work closely with product teams to manage inventory, ensuring stock levels meet demand forecasts.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports and deliver presentations to senior management regularly.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with retailers to secure favorable terms for the company.
  • Assist in creating targeted sales strategies to expand market reach and consumer base.
  • Monitor market trends to ensure our products stay competitive within retail channels.
  • Train retail clients on product knowledge for better in-store customer service experiences.
  • Resolve client issues promptly while maintaining professional and positive relationships.
  • Conduct market research to assess retail satisfaction and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate across departments to foster a unified strategy for achieving sales targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in retail sales or account management roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex situations.
