🚀 We're hiring: Senior Category Manager – Networks

📍 Based in Africa / Regional Mobility Required

The Axian Telecom Group is continuing its transformation and strengthening its purchasing department! We are looking for a Senior Category Manager – Networks to drive the purchasing strategy of the Networks category (RAN, Core, Transport, Passive Infrastructure) at the group level.

🎯 Your main missionYou will be responsible for the strategy and execution of network procurement within a newly centralized procurement function. In constant interaction with the technical and commercial stakeholders of several entities of the group, you will be a key player in the transformation of our operating model.

🛠️ Your main responsibilities

Define and manage the purchasing strategy of the Networks category in line with business issues.

Analyze spend, market and benchmarks to identify performance levers.

Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with strategic vendors.

Support the deployment of the centralized model by ensuring stakeholder buy-in.

Promote best practices in sustainability, efficiency and risk management.

🤝 Your privileged contactsYou will report hierarchically to the Chief Procurement Officer and functionally to the Head of Networks Procurement, with a regular link with the Chief Information Officer and the operators' technical teams.

📌 Desired profile

Minimum 8 years of experience in purchasing or category management in the telecom sector.

Proven expertise in the fields of Networks (RAN, Core, Transmission, etc.).

Experience in multi-country and matrix environments.

Excellent ability to negotiate, federate and manage complex stakeholders.

Fluent English required; French is a plus.

Mobility needed in the Africa region.

🎓 Diplomas: Bac+5 in engineering, business or related field. A certification (CIPS, CPSM, etc.) is an asset.
