Resident Engineer Cisco ACI Network M F D

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Cisco ACI and Nexus Dashboard (ND/NDO).
• Troubleshoot APIC, leaf/spine, EPGs, VRFs, BDs, and contracts.
• Operate ND/NDO for monitoring, analytics, automation, and Multi‑Site.
• Coordinate with OpenStack/OpenShift/Telco Cloud teams for VNF/CNF connectivity.
• Handle incidents, changes, RCA, and ITIL processes.
• Monitor fabric health using Nagios, ND Insights, and APIC.
• Support upgrades, patches, and fabric expansion.
• Maintain diagrams, baselines, SOPs, and documentation.
  
  

• 6–9 years in data center networking and ACI operations.
• Strong hands‑on experience with ACI, APIC, and leaf/spine.
• Proficient with ND/NDO for operations and Multi‑Site.
• Solid L2/L3, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN knowledge.
• Experience integrating ACI with OpenStack/OpenShift or VMware.
• Strong troubleshooting using CLI, APIC GUI, ND Insights.
• Familiar with Nagios/Grafana; automation (Ansible/Python) is a plus.
  
  

• CCNP Data Center or ACI/Nexus Dashboard Specialist.
• Experience with Multi‑Site, Multi‑Pod, or Service Graphs.
• Exposure to ND Insights, Assurance, and Orchestrator.
• Understanding of micro‑segmentation and service chaining.
• ITIL Foundation preferred.
