Repair And Maintenance

About the role:

The main responsibility of the Maintenance specialist is to coordinate, guide and participate in the daily operations of the maintenance team to preserve the good condition of our properties in Dubai.

You will be planning, coordinating and participating in a variety of general maintenance tasks including, AC Maintenance, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting & Plastering, carpentry, pool maintenance, landscaping, and more!

The ideal candidate is someone who has good experience working on the field, a strong problem-solving mind and attention to details. Also able to properly balance working on the field along with the team and in office.

At Stella Stays, you will:

• Plan and dispatch the maintenance activities on a daily basis based on the priorities
  
• Communicate & coordinate with the other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
  
• Communicate & coordinate with third party suppliers and landlords when needed
  
• Assist management in budget preparation and material planning for projects and ensure it is followed
  
• Report and communicate to management on a daily basis about maintenance issues and how they were resolved
  
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections and report issues following company procedures
  
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems: light bulbs and sockets, circuit breaker panels etc.
  
• Perform maintenance of plumbing systems: angle valves, shattaf pipes, water filters, clogged sinks and tubs, water heaters, signs of water leaks etc.
  
• Perform basic maintenance of AC systems: filters, drain pipes, thermostat etc.
  
• Perform regular maintenance of pools: brushing, vacuuming, water testing, pumps & filters etc.
  
• Perform general upkeep maintenance tasks and manual repairs: painting & carpentry, lock systems, landscaping.
  
  
  
  

• Fluency in English and Arabic - spoken and written
  
• Good & proven experience in maintenance activities
  
• Good understanding of general concepts of residential maintenance (AC, plumbing, electrical, pump systems, pools, carpentry)
  
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes, methods and tools
  
• Knowledge of general computer tools (emails, Google suite etc)
  
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
