Job Overview:

As a Relationship Manager in Business Banking at Emirates NBD, your role is to:

Acquisition of new client relationships from Relationship Officers; upgrades from mass segment, maintenance and growth of existing client relationships, meeting Revenue targets for Assets, Liabilities and cross-sell. Achieve high levels of service standards and maximize client satisfaction and ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank and anti-money laundering regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow Business Banking client relationships, including new acquisitions, upgrades, and existing portfolios.
  • Achieve revenue, profit, asset, liability, customer acquisition, and cross-sell targets.
  • Identify sales opportunities and guide Relationship Officers to support business growth.
  • Provide advisory support to customers on Trade Finance, Treasury, assets, insurance, and investment products.
  • Ensure high service standards, customer satisfaction, and timely resolution of client issues.
  • Maintain compliance with operational risk, credit, KYC, AML, and internal policy requirements.

Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Graduate degree is essential, preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of banking experience is required, preferably in a Relationship Manager role.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of basic banking operations, SME banking, compliance regulations, KYC, AML, and internal policies.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of banking products including Trade Finance, Treasury, assets, deposits, insurance, and investment products.
  • Compliance Skills: Ability to adhere to credit, operational risk, anti-mis-selling, and regulatory requirements.
  • Other Skills: Sales-driven, goal-oriented, team player, proactive, confident, and able to manage client relationships professionally.
