Job Overview:

As a Regulatory Compliance Manager at Emirates NBD, your role is to be primarily responsible for all the NPPAs received at Compliance, ensuring that all NPPAs are received, reviewed and presented to the CLT in line with the NPPA ToRs. This role may also include providing official written and informal guidance and advice on Compliance matters to business units and support functions, as and when required. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Review and advise the respective business during the initial call with Regulatory Compliance to ensure a complete and clear submission of the NPPA is maintained ahead of CLT call.
• Conduct detailed review on NPPAs from Regulatory Compliance perspective, including reference to applicable regulations, notices, and requirements, as well as previous Compliance approvals / precedents. 
• Track action items and conditions arising from NPPA Review/CLT meetings, following up with business/NPPA leads to ensure timely closure, and escalating overdue items to the Senior Manager as needed
• Provide timely reviews and advice on Regulatory Compliance related matters to business units 
• Provide translation for documents received in Arabic from the regulators
• Provide the Senior Management - Regulatory Advisory, with feedback, information of sufficient accuracy, detail, quality, context, and relevance. 

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree
• Any additional relevant compliance qualifications, certifications, or courses
• at least 4 to 6 years’ experience of which at least 3-4 years in a Regulatory Compliance role.
• Banking experience
• Good understanding of CBUAE & SCA Regulations 
• Strong understanding of Banking products and related procedures.
• Good written and oral skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of management
• Stakeholder management including negotiation and influencing skills
