Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following prescribed healthcare plans for paediatric patients.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and promptly report changes to the physicians.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during hospital stays.
• Educate patients’ families on treatment plans, ongoing care needs, and relevant health practices.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive and patient-focused care plans.
• Observe and assess paediatric patients’ health conditions and responses to treatments or medications.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records including histories, symptoms, and observations.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment adhering to healthcare protocols and safety regulations.
• Prepare and assist in diagnostic tests and medical procedures as directed by healthcare practitioners.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with paediatric nursing best practices.
• Facilitate the coordination of discharges by providing necessary information to parents and guardians.
• Advocate for patients’ health needs, ensuring exceptional care and ethical standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program or institution.
• Minimum of two years of experience working in a paediatric ward or similar setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and families.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple patients and priorities.
• Compassionate and patient-centric approach with a commitment to delivering highest-quality care.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and familiarity with healthcare technologies.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
