Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The successful candidate will possess a strong ability to assess, plan, and implement personalized care for our tiniest and most vulnerable patients—newborns who require immediate medical attention. Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU environment.
  • Monitor and assess the physiological and psychological status of patients regularly.
  • Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and utilize machinery such as ventilators.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and families about patient status and care plans.
  • Document patient data consistently and accurately to comply with health regulations.
  • Participate actively in the development of individualized care plans for patients.
  • Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and promote health and safety.
  • Provide emotional support and education to parents and families regarding care practices.
  • Assist with clinical procedures and show proficiency in neonatal resuscitation techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with medical protocols and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care.
  • Engage in ongoing education and training to maintain and upgrade nursing skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to  practice.
  • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required or to be obtained upon hire.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a neonatal or intensive care setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Empathy and patience to support families during a challenging time in their lives.
