Join our compassionate and highly skilled team as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). You will play a critical role in delivering advanced nursing care to vulnerable newborns and supporting families during challenging times. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU.
  • Coordinate and implement individualized care plans for infants with neonatal medical issues.
  • Monitor vital signs and recognize any signs of life-threatening conditions in neonates.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by neonatologists and other specialists.
  • Utilize advanced medical equipment to provide optimal care for premature and sick infants.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of infants' medical histories and treatment progress.
  • Communicate effectively with families to provide education, comfort, and support.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality and consistent patient care.
  • Adhere to established nursing protocols, safety measures, and infection control procedures.
  • Engage in continuous learning related to neonatal care and participate in educational programs.
  • Support family-centered care philosophy, encouraging parental involvement in care decisions.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the quality of care provided.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license .
  • Minimum of one year experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit preferred.
  • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required or willingness to obtain.
  • BSN degree preferred; ADN graduates with strong NICU experience are also considered.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills for effectively managing complex clinical situations.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with families, healthcare professionals, and patients.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
