Responsibilities

• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity and symptoms.
• Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatments administered.
• Utilize advanced medical technologies and equipment in delivering emergency care.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and post-discharge care.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families in distress.
• Conduct regular assessments and continuous monitoring of patients' health conditions.
• Coordinate patient transfers to appropriate medical or surgical units as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, policies, and safety standards.
• Participate in emergency drills, trainings, and continued education for skill enhancement.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, alerting medical team as necessary.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license .
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent education preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-stress environments.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and emergency room equipment technology.
