Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care to join our healthcare team. This role is integral to providing exceptional care to patients with life-threatening conditions. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will work in high-stakes environments, such as Intensive Care Units (ICU), Emergency Rooms, and trauma centers, employing your expertise to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient’s needs. With an emphasis on continuous monitoring and evaluation, your goal is to stabilize patients while supporting their families through challenging times. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in critical care settings such as ICUs and ERs.
  • Assess, monitor, and document patients’ vital signs and symptoms regularly.
  • Implement and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Communicate patient conditions and progress to the health care team promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for clinical and legal purposes.
  • Educate patients and their families on care plans and treatment procedures.
  • Respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions and implement emergency interventions.
  • Support and mentor new nursing staff and students in the critical care environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and care delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to all healthcare policies, protocols, and safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions related to critical care.

Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license .
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a critical care or ICU setting.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills are essential.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
