Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with care plans.
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care and recovery plans effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring patient reactions and side effects.
• Coordinate patient care, ensuring effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress notes.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management and care plans.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and nursing standards of practice.
• Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to appropriate healthcare providers.
• Participate in the development and review of patient care procedures and protocols.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to treat patients effectively.
• Support patient safety initiatives and maintain a sanitary environment for care.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required for patient care.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills necessary.
• Commitment to teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
