Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care to expectant mothers in a clinical setting.
• Assist and support women during labor and childbirth, ensuring a safe delivery.
• Conduct thorough assessments of mothers and newborns, monitoring health and development.
• Offer counseling and support on childbirth choices and parenting responsibilities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
• Educate families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
• Administer medication and treatment as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
• Participate in maternal health clinics, workshops, and community outreach programs.
• Ensure compliance with DHA guidelines and hospital policies at all times.

Requirements

• Current and valid DHA license to practice as a Midwife in Dubai.
• Completion of a recognized midwifery training program with certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a midwifery role is preferred.
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages is highly desired.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
