We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Midwife to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum stages. The position requires adherence to the highest standards of midwifery practice as per the regulations of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive prenatal care, including examinations and monitoring of maternal health.
• Assist in the formulation of individualized care plans for expectant mothers.
• Educate expecting mothers and their families on birthing options and prenatal care.
• Conduct clinical assessments of fetal and maternal well-being during pregnancy.
• Facilitate a safe labor and delivery process, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Administer medications and interventions as necessary during labor and delivery.
• Provide postpartum care and support to new mothers and their infants.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Identify and manage high-risk pregnancies in coordination with obstetricians.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with current midwifery practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for mothers and infants.
• Advocate for and implement patient-centered care practices in all interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery or Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Current DHA Midwife license or eligibility to obtain one in Dubai.
• Minimum of two years of experience in midwifery practice post-qualification.
• Strong clinical skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
• In-depth knowledge of prenatal, labor, and postnatal care procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively to ensure patient safety.
