The Regional Senior Store Planning Manager supports the development and delivery of Dior Parfums retail projects across different store formats and levels of complexity. This role combines strategic project management capabilities with strong architectural and technical design expertise.
For flagship projects, the role acts as a Project Manager, leading cross-functional coordination, overseeing execution, managing budget and timelines, and ensuring alignment with brand ambition, operational requirements, and quality standards.
For other projects, the role acts as a Design Specialist, developing architectural plans and technical documentation, adapting Brand concepts to local requirements, and supporting implementation through close coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
This position plays a key role in ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with Maison identity, Group standards, local regulations, and sustainability objectives.
Job responsibilities
Project Leadership by Project Type
Lead flagship projects end-to-end as Project Manager, from scope definition through execution, handover, and post-opening review.
Manage B and C projects as Design Specialist, producing and adapting technical design packages for implementation.
Ensure consistency of approach across all projects while adapting to scale, budget, and operational priorities.
Design Development & Technical Production
Translate design concepts into construction-ready packages, taking into account feasibility, local regulations, and technical constraints.
Produce architectural plans, layouts, and technical documentation aligned with creative briefs, brand guidelines, and operational requirements.
Review and validate drawings, materials, finishes, and technical solutions to ensure quality, durability, and brand consistency.
Support material and finish selection in line with aesthetic, functional, and cost objectives.
Project Coordination & Execution
Coordinate with HQ architecture, purchaser, visual merchandising, construction, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders on projects, driving accountability across the full project chain.
Support tendering, procurement, site follow-up, and implementation activities across all project types.
Identify project risks, resolve technical issues, propose solution, and adapt plans as needed to maintain timelines and quality standards.
Site Supervision & Quality Control
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify compliance with design intent, and prepare report for HQ.
Oversee execution quality and provide technical follow-up.
Address on-site issues promptly and propose practical, compliant solutions.
Ensure all works meet the Maison, and local standards, including sustainability requirements.
Budget, Timeline & Performance Monitoring
Build and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables according to project complexity.
Support budget control and design-to-cost optimization, particularly on flagship projects.
Track project performance through key indicators such as timelines, costs, quality, and operational readiness.
Provide clear and structured reporting to management and stakeholders, highlighting risks, delays, and mitigation actions.
Brand Alignment & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Ensure every project reflects the Maison’s image, client experience ambitions, and operational needs.
Adapt global architectural guidelines to local market realities and regulations.
Communicate technical requirements, timelines, and priorities clearly to internal and external partners.
Profile
Architect with 7-8 years of experience in a retail design ideally within the beauty and cosmetics industry
Strong knowledge in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Microsoft office packages, Adobe Suite
Strong understanding of general contracting works, with the ability to follow boutique construction and support site execution.
Design- and quality-oriented, with a strong eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Demonstrates ownership and accountability from project initiation through completion.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented, with a can-do attitude and strong team spirit.
The position is based in Dubai. Require travel.
