Regional Procurement Senior Manager MEA

We are looking for a Senior Regional Procurement Manager – Advertising & Consumer Promotions to join our EMEA procurement team and focus on Middle East & Africa (MEA).

Reporting to the EMEA Procurement Senior Director you will be responsible for managing all indirect A&CP activities such as Media, PR/Influencer, Events, Merchandising, GWP, and Beauty Advisors, ensuring that all services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and regulations. (c. $76m spend).

Responsibilities

From a strategy perspective, you will maintain regular communication with global category leaders to ensure regional feedback is incorporated into category strategies and, in turn, ensure their effective implementation within your markets i.e. UAE, Saudi Arabia, Middle East exports (Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, etc.), Turkey, Travel Retail MENA, North Africa, African Distributors Markers, and South Africa.

From a day-to-day perspective, you will oversee the entire A&CP budget of these markets and identify opportunities for efficiencies. With your line manager acting as a coach to you, you will define the priorities together and align on the initiatives to go after. From here on, you will have full autonomy to go and execute your projects, from stakeholders’ involvement to sourcing to contracting and savings reporting.

Success in this role requires a go-getter attitude, a positive and ’glass half-full’ mindset, autonomy, structure, strong project management skills, and the capability to build strong relationships to influence decision-makers at both local and regional management levels.

Your main focus:

• Strategic Business Partnership:
• Build strong relationships with in-market leaders i.e. GM, CFO, Marketing & Sales Directors, to collaborate on aligning the procurement strategies with commercial goals and overall Coty objectives
• This will ensure you are working on the right topics which have a direct impact on Coty’s financial situation

• Execution of Procurement Strategies:
• Implement procurement initiatives aligned with global strategies while addressing the unique needs of your local markets. You will have to draw a strong sourcing plan/savings pipeline linked to your market’s investments as well as our global procurement strategies.
• For that you will have to leverage market insights and ROI analysis to support strategic investments, drive sustainable savings, and foster innovation in A&CP areas to drive long-term growth.

• Financial & Supplier Performance Management:
• Develop and manage sourcing plans aligned with budgets, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and timings. You will need to have a ROI mindset in everything you do and touch.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, manage contracts effectively, and ensure supplier performance meets Coty’s high standards.

• Risk & Compliance Oversight:
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal and company policies, proactively identify and mitigate risks, including supplier financial stability and performance.
• You will have to deploy our Sustainability agenda within your markets including the tracking of your suppliers ‘Ecovadis and Sedex certifications
  

You will work closely together with several departments such as Marketing, Visual merchandising, Sales, and e-commerce. • You have meaningful experience in Procurement or related business function, between 5 to 7 years, with a strong track-record in A&CP (whether through Procurement or other departments) in another FMCG Corporation
• You have professional fluency in English. Arabic is a definite plus.
• You are concise while having integrated thinking and storytelling: boil down multiple data points into a simple but powerful story that drives decisions and outputs.
• You are organized, structured and always have an overview of all the deliverables.
• You know how to bring multiple projects to a successful ending within the given timeframe
