Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Director to join our senior team. This individual will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, expanding our presence in the Middle East (particularly in UAE), and leading high-level negotiations with C Level stakeholders, partners, and clients in the region.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leadership, business development, and contract negotiations in Dubai and the wider UAE market, with experience in one or more of the following domains: crypto, FinTech, NeoBanks, e-payments, or digital wallets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional strategy development and execution, with a primary focus on Dubai and the UAE.
• Represent Aqovia in high-stakes negotiations with government entities, multinational corporations, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
• Build and nurture senior-level relationships to open up new business opportunities in the Middle East.
• Provide executive leadership across projects, ensuring alignment with Aqovia’s growth strategy and client delivery standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market trends and competitive threats in FinTech, Crypto, Digital Payments, and related sectors.
• Deliver revenue growth and expand Aqovia’s footprint in target sectors such as Smart Cities, Telecommunications, and FinTech (including Crypto, Digital Wallets, and NeoBanks).
• Guide proposal development, pricing strategies, and commercial terms.
• Champion the company’s culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.
  
  

• 10+ years of leadership experience in consultancy, technology, FinTech, Crypto, Digital Wallets, and NeoBanks).
• Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing high-value deals in Dubai or the broader UAE region.
• Deep understanding of the regulatory, cultural, and commercial landscape in the GCC, particularly in digital finance, e-payments, and fintech ecosystems.
• Proven track record in growing strategic accounts and securing partnerships with government, enterprise, or financial institutions.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Multilingual abilities (especially Arabic) are a strong plus.
