A Regional Head of HR with a global leader in the fascinating world of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty - Your future position?

As an essential member of the Regional Management team for the high-growth South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa (SAMEA) region, you will manage a team of 20 HR professionals via 5 direct reports across the SAMEA region. You will drive Givaudan’s global, functional, and regional HR agenda and partner with management teams to deliver business results aligned with Givaudan’s purpose and strategy.

You will lead and drive Givaudan’s global HR agenda for the SAMEA region with a key focus on strategic talent outcomes. You will partner and provide relevant expertise in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Succession Planning, Compensation & Benefits competitiveness, Diversity management and Employee Engagement to achieve important HR objectives.

You will report directly to the Fragrance & Beauty Global Head of HR and be based at our SAMEA Regional Head Office in Dubai Media City.

In this exciting role, you will -

HR Head for the SAMEA Regional Commercial and Operations organisations

  • As a member of the SAMEA Leadership Teams, you will be responsible for driving Givaudans global HR agenda in the region, with a key focus on our Talent agenda (development, succession, talent acquisition, C&B competitiveness, diversity, engagement).
  • Development and execution of HR strategic deliverables that support the successful delivery of the region’s growth strategies.
  • Be a dedicated HRBP for the SAMEA Commercial Heads and selected leaders/functions, such as Regional Innovation teams, driving their HR needs and in parallel acting as a coach, adviser and counsellor to the business stakeholders.

Provide leadership to the SAMEA HR teams, both operationally and strategically

  • Line Manager to the regions HR organisations.
  • Focus on strong HR organisation development (Competencies, HR Talent, Business Partnering skills).
  • Be a key member of the HR team (Corporate, Division, and Region) supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies and projects.
  • Responsible for the HR Director responsibilities for the regional head office in Dubai.

Coordination and alignment of HR deliverables and processes

  • Help with proactive inputs into the Global HR team agenda, sponsor HR team projects, and act as a member of the extended global HR team
  • Drive alignment between local HR agendas and regional business and HR priorities
  • Excellent partnership, coordination, and alignment with CoE HR teams and HR SAMEA teams on key HR processes, projects and issues.
  • Manage local HR issues, compliance and partner with the local management committee to address and drive solutions with the local HR team to manage site-specific challenges and issues.
  • Support the acquisitions and integrations in SAMEA as applicable.

You?

  • A relevant University degree. Specialisation in Human Resources is desirable.
  • 15+ years of relevant HR experience in a senior position.
  • Experience in leading and building winning HR teams.
  • Experience in HR business partnering roles in international and matrix organisation environments, ideally in both commercial and manufacturing setups.
  • Experience managing employee relations challenges in the SAMEA region is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in Talent Management and Acquisition, Leadership Development, Change Management, Organisational Effectiveness & Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Excellent communication, influence and relationship-building skills, inspiring trust and confidence from business stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and execution skills.
  • Can travel within the SAMEA region as needed.
