Regional Export Assistant - Distributor Sales 18- Month Fixed Term Contract - Dubai

In this role, you will join the Distributor sales team in the Dubai regional office working together with a highly commercial team and markets where growth mindset, agility and being frontline obsessed are part of the everyday job. Distributor Sales is delivering +140 mEUR in Revenue. The future looks very strong with expectations to strengthen our position being the growth engine for ARLA MENA business. Enabling Seamless Export Flow and Operational Excellence

Lead and continuously develop the logistics function for Distributor Sales MENA, ensuring best-in-class execution and full alignment with commercial objectives. Drive performance across the function to consistently deliver on agreed KPIs, while strengthening the department’s reputation as a reliable and value-adding business partner.

Own end-to-end order flow, demand forecasting, and customer interface, ensuring high accuracy, efficiency, and service levels. Establish and maintain robust processes and systems in full compliance with company policies, while enabling scalability and operational excellence.

Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with customers and key internal stakeholders across Arla Foods to ensure seamless execution and responsiveness.

The overall ambition is to build a high-performing, professional logistics setup that not only supports day-to-day operations but actively enables and accelerates the organization’s growth ambitions towards 2030.

Together with a Cluster head, you will be responsible for driving Arla Foods sales across some of Distributor sales key markets in the MENA region working closely with local distributors.

Doing so, you will be responsible for

• Handle shipping schedule, documents and follow up on ETA.
• Supervision issued LC’s, CAD, CASH etc., and make sure that all shipping documents are issued, correct and received on time.
• Maintain good relations with shipping department in Arla Foods.
• Coordinate with customers and planners and follow up on shipping issues
• Plan sales activities and prepare forecasts volumes in cooperation with Export manager.
• Handle debit & credit notes. Vendor invoices, and payment processing.
• Control insurance policies, validity of transfers and payment documents.
• Always be updated on regional and local rules, and regulations related to our business, and inform the Export manager of any major developments/issues
• Inform Export manager of any major issues in connection with importing of the goods. (including custom clearances, demurrage and registration of items)
• Handle and place claims in the database and ensure follow up is made
• Secure professional and correct communication with stakeholders, be agile and think sales.
• Provide price calculations to internal stakeholders, stock reports and sales numbers from customers.
• Monthly order proposal in coordination with the Export manager, marketing manager and follow up regularly on forecast versus sales and inform team of any gaps.
  
  

Your profile

• Strong SAP experience is essential to success in this role, as well as experience in MS Office suit and fluency in English. If you speaks Arabic it will be a benefit
• Candidate must have minimum 4 years’ experience of export, ordering processing and documentation from FMCG industry.
• Used to work in a fast paced environments, managing multiple internal and external stakeholders while staying focused on delivering the objectives
• You are well organized, can work independently, and a strong team player
• Your positive attitude gives energy to the people around you, and you have the ability to build positive relationships and commitment.
