Your Role in Our Mission
As the Employee Relations Specialist at NEXT Ventures, you will be the trusted point of contact for employee relations matters, helping to strengthen workplace relationships, ensuring fairness, and supporting both employees and leaders through complex people situations. You’re the person teams turn to for clarity, fairness, and confidence when navigating sensitive workplace issues.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Employee Relations & Issue Resolution
Lead and support employee relations cases, including inquiries, concerns, behavioural issues, conflicts, performance challenges, and grievances.
Conduct objective, thorough investigations with a people-centric approach while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
Policy Interpretation & Compliance
Provide clear, practical guidance to employees and managers on policies, procedures, and employment practices.
Partner with HR Operations to ensure ER policies are up-to-date, legally compliant, and aligned with global standards.
Coaching & Manager Partnership
Coach leaders on handling people issues effectively — from performance discussions to corrective conversations.
Empower managers with tools and best practices to resolve issues at the earliest stage possible.
Culture & Employee Experience
Support initiatives that promote psychological safety, open communication, and a respectful workplace.
Gather insights, feedback, and trends to identify emerging issues and recommend forward-looking solutions.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Track, analyze, and report on employee relations trends and metrics to inform strategic decisions.
Recommend improvements to employee relations processes and tools.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
5–6+ years of progressive experience in employee relations, HR advisory, or a related human resources role — ideally in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Experience conducting investigations, advising on policy, and interpreting employment laws.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you can build trust quickly at all levels.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and feedback.
Sound judgement and a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
A proactive problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and prioritize people centric solutions.
Experience working in multinational or matrix environments.
Added advantage: Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM)
Your X-Factor
Balances a "people-first" heart with a "compliance-first" head — leading investigations that are as compassionate as they are legally airtight.
Acts as the "Cultural Architect" of trust — transforming sensitive conflicts and grievances into opportunities for psychological safety and systemic improvement.
Decodes workplace friction into actionable data — identifying behavioral trends before they become liabilities to help the business scale sustainably.
Empowers leadership through radical candor — coaching managers to navigate the "gray areas" of performance and behavior with confidence, fairness, and professional grace.
