Starting as a small family owned and operated business in Edmonton Alberta in 1982 to offering full service janitorial and building maintenance across Canada today. We attribute our success to staying true to our core values of Service, Motivate, Respect, and Connect. As we continue to grow we are looking to add a Regional Director to the Scandi Family!

You will be overseeing a portfolio of 123 sites across NB, PEI and NS regions. Travel will include daily local travel with overnight travel 1 to 2 times a year. Business hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm with flexibility needed as business needs fluctuate. When not travelling on the road you will be working from the comfort of your home.

What Your Day To Day Will Look Like

Reporting into the Director of Operations and directly managing 5 Account Managers.

• Lead all operational activity within your region through ensuring deadlines are met, developing preventative maintenance methods, building new and improved performance methods and enhanced cleaning techniques and skills
• Communicate with your team to maintain company policies and KPIs and to resolve any performance issues
• Build strong relationships with clients by responding promptly to concerns and conducting regular check ins
• Lead the set up of new accounts and ensure contract terms are maintained for existing accounts
• Travel 60% locally within the region and up to 10% to a larger region
  
  

What Youll Need To Succeed

• Traveling throughout the region is a daily part of the position so a valid drivers license in good standing is required.
• Must have 5 years managerial/ leadership experience with mid-senior level direct reports
• Business finance experience including budgeting and forecasting along with the ability to engage and motivate a team
• Post secondary education in business or project management is preferred
• Previous experience in the janitorial field is preferred

Our Interview Process

• 20 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruiter
• 40 minute to an hour assessment (soft skills and personality)
• 30 minute MS Teams video interview with the Hiring Manager and direct Supervisor for the role
