Overview Of The Role:

  • The Digital Range Specialist plays a crucial role in leading and managing the online product experience, focusing on availability, visibility, and conversion of IKEAs online range. This role requires a strong analytical approach to customer behavior, contributing to a seamless customer journey. Success in this position involves optimizing digital sales processes and working collaboratively with various stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and logistics teams, to ensure the IKEA online range meets customer needs effectively. The role also includes defining sales forecasts, optimizing range sales, and contributing to marketing content that enhances product discoverability. As part of the retail division, this position supports strategic commercial ambitions, customer satisfaction initiatives, and the achievement of digital sales targets.

What You Will Do:

General

  • Take the lead on enhancing the online product experience to ensure optimal availability, visibility, and conversion of the IKEA online range.
  • Analyze online shopping behavior and implement actions to create a seamless customer journey.
  • Contribute to the briefing process and secure the availability of the online offer to enhance digital sales and commercial activities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders to optimize the range offer and work proactively towards stakeholders to ensure accurate fulfillment and forecasting at the product level.
  • Manage range changes on all digital channels and ensure the agreed range is visible and buyable according to business rules.
  • Prepare sales and activity forecasts within the range scope and optimize the sales and margin of the range while following up on fulfillment goals.
  • Simplify the digital buying process based on online shopping trends, buying behaviors, and customer feedback.
  • Contribute recommendations for marketing campaigns content and support SEO and SEM through collaboration with marketing and digital teams.
  • Analyze website and product sales data to understand customer preferences and identify improvement areas in the online product range.
  • Align with global teams on business priorities and technical developments to support online promotions and commercial strategies.

  • Strong specialist knowledge in digital product range management.
  • Ability to inspire people and organizations to achieve extraordinary results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influence skills.
  • Proficiency in analytics and evolving product strategies based on industry trends.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • High School Credential.
  • Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in managing the IKEA range, with a strong understanding of making commercial decisions based on market knowledge.
  • Proven experience in digital business and sell steering within an omni-channel environment.
  • Solid knowledge in analytics, product strategy evolution based on sales data, and understanding digital processes that support business development.
  • Skilled in stakeholder and change management with strong relationship and networking capabilities.
