Job Description

The Regional Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of a company's operations within a specific geographical area. This role entails identifying new business opportunities, cultivating key relationships, and creating strategic plans to strengthen market presence and achieve financial targets. As the Regional Business Development Manager, you will act as a liaison between the company and potential clients, carrying the torch of brand representation and maintaining the company’s reputation in high regard. You will be responsible for understanding market trends, analyzing competitors, and offering innovative solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives. This is a dynamic position that demands a combination of analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills to foster profitable partnerships and spur business expansion.


Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic growth plans to increase market share in the designated region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet revenue objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  • Participate in industry conferences and networking events to enhance professional connections.
  • Monitor and report on regional business performance and suggest improvements.
  • Negotiate contracts with potential partners ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Lead market research efforts to detect new business possibilities in the region.

  • Provide mentoring and coaching to junior sales and business development staff.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports on business development achievements and plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to build lasting partnerships.
  • Ability to travel within the region to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing teams is preferred.
