As a Regional Asset Planner -Sub Sahara Africa, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and execute regional asset planning strategies that align fleet availability, sourcing, utilization, and redeployment with operational and commercial priorities.
- Ensure critical asset readiness for customer operations, startup projects, and growth initiatives through proactive coordination with country, supply chain, logistics, and asset management teams.
- Coordinate regional asset movements, including mobilizations, demobilizations, inter-country transfers, and country exit plans, to optimize fleet deployment and response time.
- Identify and mitigate asset supply risks by evaluating critical gaps, repair needs, investment requirements, and redeployment opportunities.
- Drive utilization and capital efficiency improvements by reducing idle, excess, and underutilized assets across the region.
- Maintain asset governance, data accuracy, and compliance by understanding new and existing asset management policies and ensuring country Asset Leads and peers understand and follow required standards.
- Lead regional asset reviews and continuous improvement actions focused on fleet readiness, productivity, execution discipline, and business value.

To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Have 10+ years of experience in Asset Planning and Scheduling, preferably within oil & gas or a large‑scale, asset‑intensive manufacturing or services environment.
- Have strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and material planning/inventory management processes.
- Experience with Drilling Services tools, equipment, and operational workflows.

- Planning and optimization mindset, with the ability to translate data into asset utilization, redeployment, and efficiency actions.
