Job Description

The role of a Recruitment Officer is crucial in driving the HR strategy focused on attracting top talent to the organization. As a Recruitment Officer, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing recruitment strategies that align with the organization's goals of fostering a diverse and skilled workforce. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, ensuring that the recruitment process is efficient and effective. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement creative recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to accurately define recruitment needs and position qualifications.
  • Maintain up-to-date job descriptions ready for publication on various platforms.
  • Utilize multiple channels to source potential candidates, including social media and job boards.
  • Conduct initial screening and interviews to shortlist qualified candidates effectively.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and relevant team members.
  • Maintain positive relationships with potential candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Assist in developing the employer brand to improve company visibility and appeal.
  • Analyze recruitment data to refine the hiring process and strategies continually.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with applicable local and federal employment laws.
  • Engage in networking initiatives and attend job fairs to connect with potential recruits.
  • Provide insightful feedback to candidates regarding interview results and hiring decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Officer or similar HR role is required.
  • Solid understanding of current recruitment practices and applicable employment legislation.
  • Strong proficiency with recruitment platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with candidates and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple job vacancies efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates proactive problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach.
