Job Description

The Recruitment and Onboarding Lead is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the recruitment and onboarding process. This position requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously, ensuring that we attract and onboard the best talent in the market. As a Recruitment and Onboarding Lead, you will work closely with department heads to identify hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and execute recruitment strategies. A successful candidate will streamline the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a seamless transition and are equipped with the necessary tools and information to succeed in their roles. This role demands exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of recruiters and onboarding specialists effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and prioritize staffing needs.
  • Design job descriptions and specifications based on organizational requirements.
  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Manage and mentor a team of recruiters and onboarding specialists.
  • Streamline and enhance the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies during recruitment.
  • Utilize recruitment analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities and recruitment agencies.
  • Facilitate candidate assessments and selection criteria for fair hiring.
  • Oversee the application tracking system to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
  • Organize training sessions for recruitment staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in recruitment or a similar lead role.
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and best recruitment practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
