Job Summary
IIQAF Group is seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our hospitality team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests and visitors, handling front desk operations, answering calls, managing inquiries, supporting check-in and check-out procedures, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and greet guests, visitors, and customers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
Provide excellent customer service and guest service throughout the guest experience.
Manage daily front desk and reception operations efficiently and professionally.
Assist guests with check-in, check-out, reservations, room information, and hotel or hospitality services when required.
Answer and manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly.
Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, amenities, services, restaurants, local attractions, and transportation.
Support VIP guests and special requests according to company hospitality standards.
Monitor the reception area and ensure it remains clean, organized, professional, and welcoming.
Follow company policies, hospitality standards, health and safety procedures, and guest privacy requirements.
Assist with administrative and front office duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
Communicate important guest information and operational issues to supervisors and management.
Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and high standard of service at all times.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Receptionist, Front Desk Agent, Hotel Receptionist, Guest Service Agent, Guest Relations Officer, Front Office Executive, or Customer Service Representative is preferred.
Experience in hotels, resorts, restaurants, hospitality establishments, tourism, or customer-facing environments is highly desirable.
Professional appearance, friendly personality, and customer-focused approach.
Strong organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and hospitality or reservation systems.
Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest complaints or challenging situations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
