Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and personable Receptionist to join our team at Hotel 29O25. The Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and delivering outstanding customer service to our guests. As the first point of contact for our hotel, you will manage both front-desk tasks and communication with guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service during guest check-in and check-out procedures, handle inquiries both in person and over the phone, and facilitate smooth operational processes. A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. You will represent Hotel 29O25's brand and standards, ensuring that all guests have an unforgettable and delightful experience from the moment they arrive.


Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests upon their arrival.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately with minimal waiting time.
  • Answer phone calls with courtesy and handle guest inquiries promptly.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and engineering departments to accommodate guest requests.
  • Maintain a neat and organized front desk and lobby area at all times.
  • Handle and resolve guests' complaints diplomatically and efficiently.
  • Keep a detailed log of all guest interactions and significant operational issues.
  • Schedule and confirm guest reservations, adapting to changes and requests as needed.
  • Process payments and provide receipts, ensuring accurate billing information is shared.
  • Update and manage guest information within the hotel’s management system securely.
  • Assist guests with directions, local area information, and hotel services offered.
  • Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance guests’ experience with personalized recommendations.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a hotel receptionist or similar role in the hospitality sector.
  • Strong proficiency with hotel reservation software and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective guest interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach to issues.
  • A friendly, personable, and professional demeanor with a polished appearance.
