As a Receptionist at Hotel 14M26, you are the welcoming face of our establishment, providing an unforgettable first impression for all guests. Situated in a bustling area, Hotel 14M26 constantly buzzes with excitement, requiring a receptionist who is both inviting and professional. Your main role will be to ensure that all visitors are greeted warmly and professionally, supporting a seamless check-in and check-out process. Exceptional customer service skills are a must, as you'll frequently assist with guest inquiries, manage reservations, and coordinate with various hotel departments to ensure an unforgettable guest experience. With your friendly demeanor and reliable work ethic, you will be a vital part of our team, providing continuous support to maintain the hotel's reputation for hospitality excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome all guests with a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct smooth and efficient check-in and check-out procedures for all guests.
  • Answer telephones and respond to inquiries regarding hotel services and amenities.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure timely guest room readiness.
  • Handle guest complaints or issues with patience and effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Manage room reservations and record accurate information in the hotel's reservation system.
  • Offer information regarding local attractions, dining options, and transportation services.
  • Process various methods of payment promptly and efficiently during guest transactions.
  • Maintain a neat and organized front desk area to reflect hotel standards.
  • Support other hotel departments with administrative tasks when necessary.
  • Ensure all guests are provided with a seamless and enjoyable experience during their visit.
  • Promote and upsell hotel services and amenities, enhancing the guest experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer service preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and computer systems is desirable.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high-pressure environment efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
