Job Description

A receptionist in Corporate Services acts as the face and voice of the company, playing a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for clients, visitors, and employees alike. This position involves managing the front desk responsibilities with enthusiasm and efficiency, ensuring smooth communication and operations within and outside the organization. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with a friendly and professional demeanor. As a key member of our team, you will handle multiple tasks such as welcoming guests, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting various departments with administrative support. Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly reception area with attention to detail.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments for staff and guests.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, placing orders when necessary.
  • Ensure all safety and security protocols are consistently followed.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of company events and meetings.
  • Handle and resolve guest inquiries and complaints diplomatically.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and records, both digital and physical.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure overall office efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications a plus.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
