Job Description

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. As the face of our company, the Receptionist will play a pivotal role in interacting with clients, guests, and visitors, setting the tone for our organization’s image and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming calls, and liaising with various departments. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Welcome, greet, and direct visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain and manage the reception area to ensure cleanliness and order.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, appointments, and conference room schedules.
  • Ensure all visitors are signed in and general security protocols are followed.
  • Liaise with employees and management to direct visitor inquiries appropriately.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access.
  • Manage and ensure an adequate stock of office and front desk supplies.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and provide support to other departments.
  • Offer refreshments and hospitality services to guests and clients when required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education is required for this position.
  • Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Word and Excel applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to manage a multi-line phone system and handle calls professionally.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, especially under pressure.
  • Positive attitude, dependable, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
