Rebar Detailer

Role Purpose Key Accountabilities

• Prepare reinforcement detailing drawings from structural and architectural plans.
• Generate accurate bar bending schedules (BBS) and reinforcement quantity take-offs.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, site teams, and consultants to ensure clarity and accuracy of detailing.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards (BS, ACI, etc.), and project specifications.
• Review and verify IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings before detailing.
• Modify and revise drawings based on design changes or site conditions.
• Maintain drawing records and document revisions systematically.
• Provide technical support to construction teams as needed.
• Ensure detailing work meets quality and safety standards.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in reinforcement detailing.
• Extensive experience working in the GCC region, particularly on high-rise building projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and reinforcement detailing software such as CADS RC, RebarCAD, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of structural drawings and rebar detailing standards.
• Familiar with international codes and standards (ACI, BS, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of BIM tools like Revit (Structural) is a plus.
