Role Description

Kormans LLP is looking for an experienced full-time Real Estate Law Clerk (Mandarin Speaking) to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. The role involves handling residential and commercial real estate, institutional and private mortgage transactions from opening to closing, including drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documentation, meeting clients, communicating with third parties and law firms, handling various searches and registrations, and providing ongoing support to the legal team. The successful candidate must also be able to work the typical work hours at the firms location in Mississauga.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the role of Real Estate Law Clerk (Mandarin Speaking) should possess:

• A diploma or degree in Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk Studies
• Fluent in English and Mandarin a must
• A minimum of 5 years experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk, including residential, commercial, institutional, and private mortgage transactions
• Experience with Teraview, Unity, and MS Office
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and communication skills
• The ability to multitask, work independently and as part of a team, and provide exceptional client service
• Familiarity with the Rules of Civil Procedure, Law Society of Ontario Regulations is an asset
