The Role

The Junior Geotechnical Technician supports the geotechnical team by preparing and formatting technical reports, managing project data, and assisting with document control and submissions for live Dubai projects. The role ensures efficient production of deliverables, prevents workflow bottlenecks, and enables engineers to focus on technical and coordination tasks while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support preparation and formatting of geotechnical reports and deliverables.
• Prepare borehole logs, figures, tables, appendices, and presentation materials.
• Assist with data management, document control, and technical submission compilation.
• Maintain organised project files, version control, and tracking systems.
• Coordinate with engineers to ensure accurate incorporation of technical content.
• Support timely responses to client queries and short-duration work packages.
• Ensure deliverables meet company quality and formatting standards.
  
  
  

Key Qualifications And Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• Experience supporting technical documentation and report production.
• Familiarity with infrastructure or development projects is advantageous.
  
  
  

Key Knowledge And Skills

• Understanding of basic geotechnical terminology and reporting processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to prepare technical figures, tables, and structured documents.
• Strong organisational and document control skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
