We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Radiographer, you will play a vital role in performing diagnostic imaging examinations and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work closely with radiologists, other healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure accurate and efficient imaging results. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, MRI, and CT scans.
  • Operate imaging equipment and adjust controls to ensure optimal images.
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
  • Position patients accurately to obtain the best diagnostic results possible.
  • Explain procedures and prepare patients for imaging examinations clearly.
  • Monitor patient condition during imaging procedures and report anomalies.
  • Collaborate with radiologists for interpretation of imaging results and diagnosis.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect patients from radiation.
  • Ensure the secure storage and retrieval of imaging records within systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of imaging policies and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous education to keep up with imaging technology advancements.
  • Provide compassionate and empathetic service ensuring patient comfort and care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required.
  • State licensure to practice as a Radiographer is mandatory for consideration.
  • Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working as a Radiographer in healthcare.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining a variety of imaging equipment efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and patient care procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and teams.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
